La Fontana has been welcoming guests to beautiful Murten for almost 30 years. The restaurant has two inviting dining rooms and an outdoor terrace. There is room for 80 guests in the large dining room and 30 guests in the room above. And 40 guests can also dine on the terrace in an atmosphere that is both informal and stylish, with the light of numerous candles and elegant tablecloths creating a unique atmosphere.

Well-located restaurant in Murten, opposite the Bern Gate. Very nice and cheerful waiter (Giuseppe). Fine food, wonderful veal paillard with salad and delicious chips.
Pizza like in Italy! The best pizza we've ever eaten in Switzerland. Very friendly service.
We have rarely eaten such delicious pizza. Very special with veal, a poem shaped differently, compliments to the chef. The salads were also crisp and fresh. Price performance also very good, although the restaurant was full good service. Can only be recommended.
The best spaghetti carbonara in the town of Murten is served here. The mixed salad is always fresh, just like the staff. This time the restaurant was beautifully decorated with roses and candles everywhere, see photos.
The food was simply superb. The service was excellent. Ambience corresponds to what you would expect from an Italian restaurant, simply cool. Many THANKS!
